YOUR ROLE
As a programmer, you will play a crucial role in the smooth execution of our automation projects for the food processing industry. We will encourage you to learn more about the field and take on new responsibilities over time.
More specifically, you will have to:
- Design the automation program based on customer needs in collaboration with project managers;
- Program data exchange with data management systems, as needed;
- Develop programming from process diagrams;
- Program the operator interface;
- Participate in the commissioning of equipment;
- Provide technical support to manufacturers.
Precision on the workplace: 80% of your work will take place in our offices, but you will have to travel occasionally to our clients' sites, within a 100 km radius.
The programmer we need is a true juggler. He likes the diversity of responsibilities entrusted to him and is always looking for professional development. His rigor and determination allow him to take on each challenge that comes his way with brilliance.
Required qualifications:
- AEC, DEC, or BAC in a relevant field (automation, instrumentation, industrial electronics, electrical engineering, etc.);
- Experience in automation programming.
Technical knowledge sought:
- Allen-Bradley automation controllers;
- Ignition, PanelView, and RSViewSE operator interfaces;
- AutoCAD drawing software (an asset);
- Food processing (an asset);
- Microsoft Office suite.
