Starting salary: $23.36/hour - Up to $38.15 after 8 years of continuous service, as outlined in the applicable collective agreement.

Job type : Full-time

Shift premiums : Evening shift - $1.00 per hour worked between 6 pm and 11 pm. Night shift - $1.50 per hour worked between 11 pm and 6 am

No experience required.

What will you do today?

As part of a dynamic team, you will collaborate with other team members to ensure that aircraft loading and unloading are carried out efficiently, while ensuring the safety and punctuality of flights. You may be required to perform functions related to baggage and transfer passenger baggage or work on the traffic area to perform the many tasks necessary for the success of the operation.

Job requirements

In our work environment, teamwork is essential to ensure the smooth operation of our aircraft fleet. This is physically demanding work that involves being on the move on the tarmac and in the baggage room. As our activities take place year-round, you must be prepared to work in all weather conditions.

To join us, you must

  • Hold a valid driver's license - you will be required to operate heavy equipment on the tarmac;
  • Be able to lift, repeatedly, loads of 32 kg (70 lb);
  • Pass a medical evaluation, including a drug and alcohol screening test;
  • Be available to attend and successfully complete a paid training program of nine (9) to ten (10) weeks on a full-time basis;
  • Be available to work on a rotating shift schedule over a 24-hour period (including weekends and holidays);
  • Pay attention to safety and security;
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, every day.
  • Show punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearance as well as additional authorizations (please consult the Transport Canada website for more details);
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the country of concern at the time the job offer is made. The search for any work permit/visas or other necessary authorizations is the sole responsibility of the candidates for this position.
