Primary Responsibilities
Management of the sales associate team; management of the sales floorTraining and development of staff; building a pool of talented candidates who can become future managersRecruitment: Interviews, hiring, and integration; ensuring a positive and successful onboarding process for new associatesResolving customer concerns and providing a positive and seamless service experienceDaily management of store operations; ensuring that company policies and procedures are respectedEnsuring the overall safety and security of the store, associates, and customersVisiting and analyzing the competitionDaily and weekly sales meetingsPreparing and managing promotional events and contestsMaintaining communication with all store departmentsBeing available and accessible; supporting our team of associatesTeam development; creating a team-oriented, supportive, and collaborative work environmentEnsuring liaison with head office to share information; ensuring that associates and managers have access to the information they need to perform their jobs effectivelyPreparing and leading effective and engaging meetingsSupporting the general manager and other department managersCompleting daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reportsOther related tasksRequirements
