Clinique Delta in Gatineau is looking for a motivated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

This is more than a traditional clinic nursing role. We are building a fast, efficient, patient-centred practice that combines family medicine and sports & exercise medicine, with a strong focus on improving access to care and creating better clinical workflows.

My own practice includes a mix of general family medicine, urgent and same-day concerns, musculoskeletal and sports injuries, chronic disease management, and office-based procedures. The goal of this position is to work closely alongside the physician, help remove unnecessary bottlenecks, and allow each member of the team to work at the top of their scope.

We are looking for someone who wants to help build the way the clinic runs, not simply follow an existing routine.

Responsibilities may include

• Patient intake, vital signs, and visit preparation
• Medication reconciliation
• Injections, nursing care, and procedures within scope of practice
• Supporting chronic disease follow-up
• Patient education and counselling
• Preparing patients for musculoskeletal assessments and procedures
• Coordinating investigations, referrals, and follow-up
• Helping manage urgent and same-day patient flow
• Identifying opportunities to make the clinic more efficient
• Helping develop practical and scalable clinical workflows

Ideal candidate

• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, walk-in clinics, family medicine, sports medicine, or another high-volume setting is strongly preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Organized, proactive, reliable, and able to anticipate what needs to be done
• Coachable, adaptable, and receptive to feedback
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Interested in learning, growing, and taking on increasing responsibility
• Enjoys being part of a team that is actively building and improving its model of care

The goal of this position is to work closely with the physician to reduce bottlenecks, improve the patient journey, and make consultations more efficient.

We are looking for someone who wants to actively contribute to building and improving the functioning of the clinic, rather than just following an already established routine.

The role may include

• Experience in emergency, urgent care, walk-in, family medicine, or other high-volume clinical environment highly desired
• Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
