Financial Controller

A key role at the heart of our growth

Baulne is a Québec-based company specialized in mechanical building services, experiencing strong growth, with 75 employees and 4 branch offices. We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our team and actively contribute to sound financial management and the development of the company.

Your role

Reporting to management, the Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial and accounting activities, while playing an advisory role to management.

The ideal candidate must be strategic, analytical and highly operational, with the ability to improve processes and support the company in its growth.

Main responsibilities

•

Oversee the company's accounting and financial activities;

•

Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements;

•

Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable and accounts payable;

•

Participate in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts;

•

Analyze financial results and make recommendations to management;

•

Ensure cost control and monitor financial indicators;

•

Supervise and mobilize the accounting team;

•

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information;

•

Optimize financial, accounting and administrative processes;

•

Participate in the implementation, improvement and optimization of ERP systems;

•

Collaborate with various departments to support business objectives;

•

Participate in the company's strategic projects.

Desired profile

•

CPA designation required;

•

8 to 15 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance;

•

Significant experience in financial control or financial management;

•

Experience in an SME or operational environment, an important asset;

•

Team management experience;

•

Good knowledge of ERP systems and interest in process improvement;

•

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

•

Leadership, autonomy and sense of responsibility;

•

Excellent communication and collaboration skills;

•

Ability to work in a dynamic and growing environment.
