We are looking for a portfolio manager to support the management, optimization, and predictability of investments in I&T. In this strategic role, you will have the opportunity to exercise your leadership, innovate, and influence business directions within the IT function. You will actively contribute to the implementation of sustainable practices, improve portfolio performance, and create value for the organization.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Strategic portfolio management

  • Present to decision-making bodies the necessary information to guide portfolio-related decisions: adding, suspending, merging, or abandoning projects, adjusting pace, etc., with the goal of optimizing resources.

  • Ensure strategic alignment of the portfolio with executive priorities and corporate directions.

  • Optimize investment value

Steering, arbitration, and resource allocation

  • Support portfolio management by consolidating key information and facilitating budget, capacity, and resource-related arbitration.

  • Identify priority risks and challenges and propose decision-making scenarios that allow for optimal resource allocation.

Monitoring, governance, and communication

  • Communicate to decision-makers and stakeholders a clear, structured, and synthetic portrait of the portfolio's status, including resource utilization, performance, risks, and decisions made.

  • Maintain rigorous traceability of directions, decisions, and changes.

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • University degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.

  • More than ten (10) years of experience in project management, project control, and portfolio management, in complex organizational environments and in transformation.

  • Proven ability to evolve in a role with a strong strategic component, including planning, prioritization, and alignment of initiatives with the organizational vision.

  • Mobilizing leadership, oriented towards collaboration, influence, and informed decision-making.

  • Excellent ability to navigate a rapidly changing environment while maintaining consistency, performance, and stakeholder alignment.

  • Exceptional rigor in monitoring, governance, and work organization.

  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and complex problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, including:

    • Excel (advanced level)

    • MS Project

    • Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside of Quebec or unilingual English speakers on a daily basis.

  • Great ease in interpersonal interactions, stakeholder management, and communication with business executives.
