As an electromechanic, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the mechanical, electrical and automated systems of our facility. You will work directly with production equipment, solve problems and help ensure safe and efficient operations. - Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- D.E.P. in electromechanics or industrial mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Comfortable with physical tasks: lifting (up to 50 lb), climbing, kneeling, standing for long periods
- Ability to work at heights and flexibility to work overtime, weekends or holidays with notice
- Basic computer knowledge for maintenance documentation
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment issues to ensure production continuity
- Diagnose, repair and optimize mechanical and electrical systems
- Support the morning production startup and ensure equipment is ready
- Carry out fabrication, welding and modification tasks as needed
- Take part in equipment improvement and upgrade projects
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop and plant environment
- Comply with food safety and workplace safety standards
Desired Qualifications
- Equipment connection certificate
- T.I.G. welding experience
- Familiarity with labeling equipment (Bizerba) and packaging equipment (Omori, Ulma)
- Knowledge of HACCP standards and the food industry
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with a safety-focused approach
- Must be currently legal to work in Canada
- Must be 18 years or older
- D.E.P. in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics (or Quebec equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Comfortable with physical tasks: lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, kneeling, standing for long periods
- Ability to work at heights and flexible to work overtime, weekends, or holidays with notice
- Basic software knowledge for maintenance documentation
