Call for Applications - Teaching Assistants in Philosophy (Autumn 2026)

We are seeking applications for teaching assignments in philosophy for the fall 2026 session. The need is more specifically for the course Sexualité repensée (Rethinking Sexuality), offered on Mondays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Roles and responsibilities

The person selected for this assignment will be responsible for:

• Preparing the study plan;
• Preparing courses, laboratories or internships;
• Delivering courses, laboratories or internships in collaboration and consultation with the teachers concerned;
• Supervising their students;
• Preparing, invigilating and marking examinations;
• Reviewing corrections requested by students;
• Taking part in the pedagogical days organized by the College;
• Taking part in departmental meetings and in the activities required to carry out the department's functions;
• As needed, carrying out any other related duties.

Required qualifications

• Terminal undergraduate university degree in the field;
• A master's degree in philosophy is considered an asset;
• Mastery of written and spoken French (verified by test, passing grade: 60%)
• Teacher training or relevant teaching experience is an asset;
