At Groupe DPHV, we are looking for a technician-drafter oriented towards inspection, who enjoys the field, understands structures in their reality, and contributes directly to the safety and reliability of the works.

This position is for someone who appreciates:

  • inspections and technical surveys,
  • working at heights,
  • field analysis translated into clear reports
  • field and office.

Your daily role:

Inspections, surveys, and fieldwork

  • Conduct visual inspections and structural surveys of:
  • buildings, telecommunications structures (guyed towers, self-supporting towers, monopoles), rooftop structures, and various specialized structures.
  • Perform inspections in high-angle work (roofs, metal structures, towers)
  • Document the condition of structures, anomalies, damage, or deficiencies observed
  • Collaborate with engineers to understand technical mandates and objectives

Post-inspection reporting and follow-up

  • Write clear, structured, and professional inspection reports.
  • Compile survey data, photos, and field observations.
  • Participate in preliminary technical analysis and recommendations.

Planning

  • Perform planning on AutoCAD (surveys, sketches, existing condition plans, and post-inspection solutions)

Profile sought:

  • Diploma in civil engineering technology (professional experience takes precedence over the diploma)
  • Training in high-angle work (an asset)
  • ASP Construction card
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent mastery of AutoCAD
  • Comfortable with writing technical reports and planning
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, rigor, and practical common sense
  • A strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables
  • Mastery of French is essential, and having a practical knowledge of English would be an asset.
