The École nationale de police du Québec (ENPQ) is currently seeking three administrative assistants for the following directions:

  • Direction de l'Innovation, des Affaires Académiques et Institutionnelles (DIAAI);
  • Direction des Affaires Financières et Administratives (DAFA) ;
  • Direction du Perfectionnement Policier (DPP)

Job Responsibilities

Under the authority of the relevant manager or director, the person holding the position supports the managers of the direction and their respective teams on the administrative level by collaborating in the production, updating, and monitoring of documents. They ensure the quality of all texts and visual presentation.

For example, the person holding the position may be called upon to perform, among other tasks, the following:

  • Manage the calendar of the manager(s) of their direction;
  • Ensure the development, updating, and/or revision of documents, forms, tools, and other administrative supports required by their direction for internal or external distribution;
  • Take charge of organizing meetings and writing minutes.

More Specifically for Each Direction

At the Direction du Perfectionnement Policier (DPP), whose mission is to ensure the updating of skills or the acquisition of a specialty in the police profession, the person holding the position reports to the person in charge of police training activities and may be called upon to:

  • Perform various tasks related to the organization and monitoring of events (meetings, seminars, information days) such as reconciling availability, preparing the agenda, invitations, room reservations, and material preparation;
  • Collaborate in the management of the direction's purchases;
  • Provide support in monitoring the direction's budget.

At the Direction de l'Innovation, des Affaires Académiques et Institutionnelles (DIAAI), whose mission is to lead a collaborative cross-cutting approach in various institutional files and to accelerate digital transformation, the person holding the position reports to the director and may be called upon to:

  • Perform various administrative tasks in support of the direction's operations;
  • Ensure the logistics related to the reception of national and international delegations;
  • Support internal teams during missions outside of Québec and internationally;
  • Monitor the organization and follow-up of the resource planning or digital registry;
  • Provide administrative support during certain institutional events.

At the Direction des Affaires Financières et Administratives (DAFA), whose mission is to ensure sound financial management of the ENPQ in compliance with the regulatory and legislative environment and optimal and efficient use of material resources, the person holding the position reports to the director and may be called upon to:

  • Participate in the creation of documentation intended for presentations submitted to various decision-making and advisory bodies;
  • Contribute to the creation of documents, tables and reports of various kinds;
  • Ensure follow-up of files from your department.

Other information

  • An online test will be conducted from your home within a prescribed timeframe.
  • Possibility of telecommuting according to the policy in effect.

3 Regular jobs (35 hours/week from Monday to Friday)

Hourly rate: $26.26 to $33.38 (2025 scale)

The salary is determined based on recognized education and experience

Admission requirements for all departments :

  • Hold a professional studies diploma in office administration or equivalent.
  • Master the software of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Have an excellent command of the French language, both spoken and written.
  • Will be considered as assets :
  • Hold a diploma with specialization in a field related to the functions;
  • Possess relevant experience.
