Hello, I am Bianka, Senior Team Leader within Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll jobs. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.

Mission

Job context

This position is created to support the growth of the payables team, in a context of technological and organizational transformation. The position needs to be filled quickly to support this transition.

Responsibilities

The person will report to our payables accountant controller.

Your main responsibilities will be

  • Entering invoices into the system
  • Preparing payments: validation with project managers, collecting authorizations
  • Matching payments to invoices, tracking discrepancies

You will be in regular contact with suppliers (emails) and internal teams to ensure fair and smooth payment processing. The team manages a volume of around 1500 invoices per month.

Your profile

Sought-after profile

Education & experience

  • Diploma in accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a high-volume invoice environment

Technical skills

  • Very good mastery of supplier account processes
  • Comfortable with accounting systems and Excel
  • Experience with ERP software is a significant asset

Soft skills

  • Rigor, attention to detail
  • Analytical and prioritization spirit
  • Autonomy, reliability, desire to learn
  • Good interpersonal skills (internal and external)
