Perform preventive maintenance on mobile equipment;Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic or electrical failures;
Repair or replace defective parts;
Read and interpret technical plans, diagrams and schematics;
Produce complete repair reports;
Operate lifting equipment (overhead crane, carts, aerial lifts, etc.);
Perform all other related tasks.
Requirements
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent experience;Solid knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electricity;
Ability to operate equipment to reproduce breakdowns in real-life situations;
Know how to use diagnostic tools;
Know how to crimp a hydraulic hose according to specifications;
Be comfortable with the use of welders and torches;
Class 5 driver's license required.
