Main Responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical problems with machinery and plan repairs using the most appropriate work method;
Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance work on available equipment;
The work must be done with good practices and good work methods to respect health and safety rules at work.
The workplace must remain clean.
Daily reports on ongoing work are required (e.g., if machinery needs to be taken out of service, the date and number of hours must be communicated)
You will be required to perform all other related tasks as requested by your immediate supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
DEP in industrial mechanics;
Basic knowledge of welding is mandatory for the position;
Knowledge of conveyor mechanics is an asset;
A minimum of (1) year of experience in machinery maintenance and repair;
Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics (loader, excavator) could be an asset;
To occupy the position, it is essential to demonstrate good manual dexterity.
Comfortable with heights and able to work safely.
It is also necessary to be autonomous, resourceful, and work efficiently and safely.
You must have good problem-solving skills and good priority management.
Working Conditions
Competitive salary;
Permanent position from Monday to Friday - 40 hours/week; Day and night shifts
Group insurance paid 100% by the company upon hiring.
Collective RRSP with employer participation.
