Reason for the position

The CH Group is looking for a Food Counter Team Leader to contribute to the success of numerous initiatives.

Under the responsibility of their supervisor, the food counter team leader ensures the proper functioning of their team of attendants assigned to them during events. They must ensure that the quality standards of the Bell Centre (food quality, presentation, temperature) are respected. They are also responsible for forecasting the necessary production to meet demand during events. In the event of a major problem, they must report to their immediate superior.

You will be recognized for

  • Planning and organizing food production to meet demand during various events;
  • Ensuring healthy management of the concession: inventory control, ordering, receiving, stock rotation, scheduling;
  • Actively and regularly participating in food preparation and cooking, while ensuring product quality;
  • Managing concession operations during events in collaboration with attendants and ensuring that it remains clean at all times;
  • Acting as a leader and developing staff autonomy;
  • Respecting and ensuring respect for established hygiene, sanitation, and food handling rules at all times;
  • Ensuring follow-up on equipment washing and general kitchen cleanliness.

  • Schedules : Work shifts start at 2 p.m. on event days (day, evening, and weekend).

  • Planning and organization skills : Planning and organizing attendants' tasks from start to finish.
  • Resourcefulness : Identifying and using the appropriate means to accomplish their work. Demonstrating autonomy in carrying out assigned responsibilities.
  • Curiosity : Enjoying learning and staying up-to-date on best practices and trends in the field.

We want to meet you if you have the following qualifications

  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar position;
  • College or post-secondary education in restaurant management, hotel management, applied cuisine, or another relevant discipline (an asset);
  • MAPAQ certificate (an asset).
