Summary Description
The logistics coordinator plans, coordinates and monitors transportation, shipping and inventory management activities to ensure the efficiency of logistics operations. He ensures compliance with deadlines, documentation, inventory control and process optimization. He reports to the transportation director.

Specific Descriptions
Transportation and Shipping
- Plan deliveries and transportation in general for different sites.
- Optimize order shipping according to customer needs.
- Monitor shipments and resolve delays or transportation issues.
- Ensure that delivery deadlines are met.
- Produce logistics performance reports.
- Inform internal and external customers of order status.
- Handle delivery-related complaints.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels by warehouse.
- Coordinate transfers.
- Participate in physical inventories and stock adjustments.
- Avoid inventory shortages or surpluses.
- Analyze transportation and storage costs.
Documentation and Compliance
- Prepare shipping and receiving documents.
- Verify external transportation invoices.
- Prepare customs documents for imports/exports.
- Ensure the update of system settings defined by the manager
Qualities/Skills Sought
- 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics.
- Organization and priority management.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to resolve problems quickly.
- Mastery of tools such as Excel, ERP or logistics management software.
- Knowledge of transportation, inventory and customs.
