
Summary Description
The electrical maintenance technician works in collaboration with the production director and the building inspector to complement the inspections and prevention of the company's buildings across the province of Québec. He is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the proper functioning of the electrical equipment in place in the agricultural facilities. His role is essential to prevent breakdowns, ensure safety, and maintain the operational efficiency of the equipment.
SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION
- Perform periodic inspections of electrical systems to prevent failures:
- Distribution motors
- Power supply systems
- Ventilation fans and controllers
- Lighting equipment
- Sensors, temperature probes, and agricultural automation
- Control panels and circuits
Required Qualities
- Analytical sense and speed in making a diagnosis
- Meticulousness, rigor, and autonomy
- Ability to work alone or in collaboration with other trades
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards
- Valid driver's license - Class 5
- DEP in electricity (or equivalent experience)
- Agricultural building experience (an asset)
- Pertinent competence cards or certifications (an asset)
