Advisor, Risk and Information Governance - Québec (maternity leave replacement - 12 months)

Reporting to the Vice Presidency of Finance and Corporate Affairs, you will play a key role in mobilizing and aligning various working committees and teams to ensure consistency in the application of risk management frameworks. You will act as a strategic point of contact to facilitate collaboration, overcome operational obstacles, and support the effective implementation of projects.

- Act as a resource person for management, regulators, customers, and administrators on issues related to governance, risks, compliance, and personal information protection
- Define and implement data governance practices, personal information, artificial intelligence (AI), and corporate policies
- Lead various governance and risk management committees to ensure the advancement of strategic initiatives
- Supervise projects related to personal information protection, achieving various compliance standards (e.g., ISO, DFARS, SOC2), risk management, and artificial intelligence
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and tools supporting governance and compliance activities
- Ensure rigorous monitoring of action plans and support teams in implementing best practices
- Coordinate external audits and support teams in executing corrective measures
- Promote a consistent risk management culture aligned with the organization's business objectives.
Skills
- Hold a bachelor's degree in law or another discipline related to governance or risk management
- Accumulate a minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an international context
- Have experience in personal information protection, particularly in relation to Law 25 and the GDPR, as well as a good understanding of issues related to data, AI, information security, DFARS, and contractual compliance
- Demonstrate an analytical mind, rigor, political sense, and a collaborative approach
- Excel in communication and popularization
- Master information technologies
- Master English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
- Have a good knowledge of ISO standards (notably ISO 27001) and internal control audits (notably SOC2) (an asset)
