How You Make an Impact
Reporting to the Medical Imaging Clinical Manager, you will support the multidisciplinary team and ensure that radiology diagnostic tests are performed properly. Your key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the radiologist, carrying out diagnostic tests in the department, in the care unit
,
and in the operating room, and assessing image quality;
- Ensuring that technical apparatus and equipment are in good working order, that they are properly maintained
,
and that the examination room is properly equipped;
- Checking the appropriate technical factors based on clinical information by assessing patient conditions;
- Monitoring the digital image in the PACS system;
- Making trips with the handheld mobile device to the care unit, including the operating room.
Job Requirements
Education and Professional Experience
- Hold a college diploma in Medical Radiation Technology;
- Be an active member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario;
- Hold an SIR/BLS certification recognized by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada;
- Possess a minimum of one year's experience in a position deemed equivalent in a hospital environment, where you were able to develop medical imaging skills;
- Demonstrate knowledge of the PACS system;
- Be able to communicate in both official languages (French and English) at an intermediate level.
Assets That Make You Stand Out

- Have experience with an

software.
