Job Description
Your Mandate
- Develop solid relationships with customers, with key executives and stakeholders of the company;
- Prepare sales reports and account status reports;
- Respond to customer inquiries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers;
- Ensure liaison with internal cross-functional teams, including engineering, customer service, and product development departments to improve the overall customer experience;
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve objectives while keeping our customers satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long term;
- Possess international experience (mainly in the United States);
- Deepen relationships with existing customers and develop them with new customers;
- Identify areas for customer improvement to achieve sales quotas;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer account management questions;
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors;
- Negotiate contracts and conclude agreements to maximize profits;
- Ensure the rapid and successful delivery of our solutions based on customer needs and objectives;
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders;
- Forecast and track key account parameters (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts);
- Help respond to difficult customer requests or escalate issues as needed.
- Proven professional experience as an account manager, key account manager, commercial account manager, junior account manager or relevant role;
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Mastery of English and French, both spoken and written;
- Solid experience in achieving aggressive sales targets;
- Mastery of CRM software, with Office suite and Google Workspace;
- Experience providing customer-focused solutions to meet customer needs;
- History of success in structuring and delivering complex enterprise services to customers with a diverse suite of solutions and products;
- Excellent interpersonal skills who can interact at all levels of the organization and establish credibility with senior executives of customer organizations;
- Knowledge of the Opsun market (an asset);
- Results-driven and ability to quickly develop strong relationships leading to new opportunities and revenue growth;
- Business acumen and ability to influence will be important in establishing credibility within the organization, locally and internationally;
- Dynamical leader, confident, motivated and articulate who interacts effectively at all levels of the organization, with the ability to build trust relationships;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level;
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at once, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail;
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Technical knowledge (engineering training) is not required, but could facilitate the candidate's integration into the job opportunity;
- This position may require occasional travel (10% - 15% maximum - Canada and USA.
