Relevant to the shipping supervisor, the position holder plays a key role in managing orders and inventory. He ensures the preparation, storage, and shipping of goods.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Preparation of customer orders
- Selecting products according to the order
- Transporting goods manually or using mechanical equipment
- Verification: quantity, quality control, and compliance
- Packing according to protection and safety standards
- Storing in appropriate spaces
- Assisting with truck loading
Storage and organization
- Informing the supervisor in case of stock shortage
- Proposing equivalents with the supervisor's help
- Notifying changes in the location of goods and pallets
- Ensuring proper distribution in storage areas
- Maintaining spaces in order: aligning pallets and cleanliness
Team support
- Assisting customers at the pickup door as needed in a quick and courteous manner
- Assisting with goods reception as needed
Warehouse
- Participating in inventory taking
- Participating in warehouse maintenance, cleanliness, and ensuring it is secure
- Storing goods and pallets following organization and safety instructions
- Prior experience in a warehouse
- Forklift certification (an asset)
- Being in good physical shape and able to work standing for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy loads
- Legible writing and mental math skills
- Spoken French and good understanding
- Being legally authorized to work and reside in Canada

WORKING CONDITIONS
- 39h30 per week, possibility of increase
- Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm
- Type of employment: Permanent
- 2 weeks of vacation
