Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial appliances including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and specialized kitchen equipment. Perform installations of new commercial appliances, ensuring they are set up correctly according to specifications. Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks to prolong the lifespan of appliances and prevent costly breakdowns. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues related to appliance malfunctions. Respond promptly to emergency service calls, providing efficient and effective repair solutions in the Gatineau area. Maintain accurate service records, documenting all work performed, parts used, and time spent. Requirements Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician, with a focus on commercial equipment. Strong knowledge of various appliance types, brands, and their internal components. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, gas, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
