Position: Nutrition and Logistics Assistant Opportunity

Join Providence Care Hospital as a part-time Nutrition and Logistics Assistant. You will assist in food preparation, delivery, and cleanliness while supporting patient needs.

This position requires you to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team. Your duties will involve food and nutrition preparation, portering clients, and using various equipment for meal delivery.

Experience with HACCP guidelines and a valid Ontario driver’s license is preferred to ensure high standards of food service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in centralized and decentralized meal service provision
• Prepare food and maintain cleanliness of service areas
• Operate food equipment and transport vehicles as needed
• Perform inventory control and HACCP compliance checks
• Drive clients to community appointments when assigned

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 equivalency or equivalent education
• Completion of National Food Safety Training preferred
• Six months’ experience in institutional food services preferred
• Valid Class G Ontario driver’s license;

Class F preferred

• Experience with computerized systems
