What does the job involve?
As an RBC branch ambassador, you will put the client first and find solutions tailored to their needs. You will promote the RBC brand and support client acquisition and deepening of relationships with existing clients. What will your responsibilities be?
- Deliver an exceptional service experience to branch clients by processing their transactions and identifying opportunities to offer advice and solutions, encourage the adoption of digital technologies, and introduce them to partners.
- Focusing on education and demonstration, leverage technology to create a memorable client experience, drive sales and build client loyalty.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional advice, present clients with the capabilities of RBC partners, or personally finalize client solutions.
- Anticipate banking issues clients may encounter, and resolve those that arise.
- Maintain and strengthen partner relationships to work as one
RBC team.
- Manage risk by following established procedures, processes and compliance controls to protect the interests of clients and shareholders when executing transactions.
What do you need to succeed?
Requirements
- Proven commitment to putting the client first, and ability to succeed in a environment focused on practical solutions that achieve objectives
- Determination and personal motivation, excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Familiarity with a wide range of digital devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
- Availability to work a variable schedule
- Thirst for learning and determination to succeed
Assets
- Solid track record in building and maintaining client relationships in the finance, service or retail sectors
- Mutual fund sales licence or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada course or Canadian Securities Course)
