Job Description

In this role, you ensure that you welcome, advise and serve customers. You have the responsibility to provide appropriate and quality information, presented in a way that adequately responds to the customer's needs, and this, within the framework of the social mission entrusted to the Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC). As a part-time employee with restricted availability, you must offer a minimum availability of two (2) evenings from five o'clock (17h) including Thursday or Friday evening as well as Saturday and Sunday all day.

Main Responsibilities

• Inform customers about the different cannabis products and their characteristics
• Advise customers from a safety and health protection perspective
• Record transactions at the cash register, prepare deposits and collect amounts due according to various payment methods
• Participate in the branch's inventory process

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old
• Hold a high school diploma (DES or DEP) or a recognized equivalent
• Have at least one year of experience in a customer service or retail sales advisory role
• A combination of two years of experience in a relevant related field may be considered
• Demonstrate professional interest and understanding of the issues related to the marketing of cannabis
• Be available to work during the day, evening and weekend
• Have ease of expression and ability to popularize information
• Have a good command of spoken French
• Demonstrate ease with technological and computer tools
• Be authorized to work legally in Canada
• Undergo the security clearance procedure
• Entry into function is conditional on the success of the training offered by the SQDC
