Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovator to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of building renovation, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, and finishing. This role involves transforming spaces through comprehensive renovation projects, requiring proficiency with both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. The Renovator will work on diverse projects ranging from residential to commercial properties, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute renovation projects accurately.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely for demolition, construction, and finishing tasks.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as cabinet installation, framing, and flooring installation.
• Conduct masonry work including concrete forming, finishing, and tile laying.
• Execute electrical and plumbing installations or repairs in accordance with industry standards.
• Apply caulking, painting, and restoration techniques to enhance the appearance and durability of structures.
• Operate heavy equipment when necessary for large-scale demolition or construction activities.
• Estimate project costs and materials for construction estimating purposes.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards throughout each phase of the project.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction, renovation, or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, electrical work, or plumbing.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with concrete forming, concrete finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, and cabinetry is preferred.
• Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of restoration techniques and construction painting is a plus.
• Prior experience working on residential or commercial renovation projects is advantageous. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid license or certification relevant to construction trades is preferred but not mandatory depending on project requirements.

Pay: $18.78-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
