Heavy Maintenance Position

JOB DESCRIPTION

Thus, we are looking for a building maintenance person (Jack/Jill of all trades) full-time for the Résidence Village Riviera located in Gatineau, Québec. The selected candidate will be able to start immediately!

Within our maintenance and repair team, we strive to maintain effective teamwork, quality, organization, and good communication. Therefore, we are looking for a person responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the residence who is motivated, punctual, autonomous, organized, and qualified for this position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

§ High school diploma or higher.

§ Previous experience in property maintenance and repairs (at least 2 years).

§ Able to improvise in the face of obstacles.

ABOUT THE POSITION

·Supervise and coordinate various maintenance and repair tasks;

·Apply schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs;

·Inspect the premises or facilities to ensure that established safety and cleanliness standards are respected;

·Recommend, organize, and/or complete additional services as needed (e.g., painting, repair work, replacement of furniture and/or equipment, etc.);

·Prepare progress reports on work;

Know how to perform tasks related to painting, plumbing, electricity, landscaping, and general maintenance.
