What you will do...

TASK DESCRIPTION

Ensure compliance with standards in the self-service checkout area

Ensure the self-service checkout area remains clean, safe, and organized, with no debris or unnecessary displays, foreign objects, or spills.

Promote Walmart programs and initiatives

Contribute to promoting the company's programs, including credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable projects, as applicable.

Support for customers at self-service checkouts

Help customers use self-service checkouts quickly and confidently by providing assistance as needed, monitoring their activity, and performing required checks. Clearly explain any intervention in a friendly and reassuring manner and report technical or cash handling issues to the customer service manager.

Handle SEA alerts and complete documentation

Handle electronic article surveillance alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately complete the "demagnetization failure" log.

Managing Scannez and pay equipment

Ensure that portable scanners are returned to designated storage locations after use.

Flexibility (availability/working hours)

• Be willing to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed by the business. Your adaptability contributes to ensuring the smooth operation of the branch and consistent, high-quality customer service.

Physical requirements

• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting merchandise, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 9 kg (20 lb) and occasionally up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Perform repetitive tasks such as restocking, zoning, and facing products, with particular attention to detail and consistency to maintain branch standards.
