WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
- Deliver excellence: Safely transport and deliver ready-mix concrete for the region's most iconic infrastructure and residential projects.
- Master the machine: Operate recent and well-maintained AZ or DZ class trucks (manual transmission), performing meticulous inspections before and after each trip to ensure your vehicle is road-ready.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Perform daily inspections of assigned ready-mix concrete trucks and document findings.
- Load and unload concrete according to strict safety procedures and customer mix specifications.
- Maintain digital/manual delivery logs and complete all necessary project documents.
- Maintain constant and professional communication with dispatch and plant personnel.
- Perform minor routine maintenance and keep the cab and exterior of the vehicle clean.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- License: Valid AZ or DZ class driver's license with air brake (Z) endorsement.
- Technical competence: Proven experience with manual transmissions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction delivery or operating heavy vehicles is an asset. We offer general training and safety training for newcomers to the industry.
- Reliability: A clean driving record (CVOR/Abstract) and an unwavering commitment to safety.
- Physical Ability: Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including climbing truck ladders and lifting hoses.
- Flexibility: Availability for Monday to Friday work shifts, with Saturdays and evenings as required by our high-volume project schedule.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Visual Acuity: Must meet distance, peripheral, and depth perception requirements to navigate busy construction sites.
- Compliance with PPE: Must be willing to wear all required PPE (hard hats, vests, etc.).
- Respirator Regulation: In accordance with safety rules, employees required to wear a respirator must be clean-shaven to ensure adequate sealing.
- Environment: Comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions and near moving mechanical parts.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and properly use approved Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE") as mandated by Amrize Canada Inc..
Successful candidates may be required to provide a criminal record check and undergo a physical fitness assessment

Pay: $29.00-$31.48 per hour
