Key Responsibilities
Maintain open communication with all departments within the storeMaintain a strong presence on the sales floor; be available and accessible; support our team of associatesTeam development; creating a teamwork-oriented, supportive and collaborative work environmentServe as liaison with head office to share information; ensure that associates and managers have access to the information they need to perform their work effectivelyStaff training and development; building a pool of talented candidates who could become future managersRecruitment: Interviews, hiring and onboarding; ensure a positive and successful orientation process for new associatesResolve customer concerns and provide a positive, seamless service experienceDay-to-day store operations management; ensure company policies and procedures are followedPrepare and lead effective and engaging meetingsSupport the general manager and the managers of other departmentsAct as duty manager: responsible for store opening/closing, handle high-level issues and provide on-site assistance to associates and customersHelp with the preparation and management of promotional eventsComplete daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reportsManage merchandise flow in the store; bring new merchandise to the showroom and clear discontinued merchandiseManage merchandise that is unavailable for sale; address product concerns with suppliers and buyersOther related tasksRequirements
