Your role is important
You will work in a stimulating industrial environment within a company whose occupational health clinic is operated by Biron Groupe Santé.
You will work in an industrial setting with a client of our Occupational Health division, whose workplace health services are provided by Biron. In this role, you will actively contribute to the health, safety and well-being of workers by delivering clinical, preventive and administrative services adapted to the realities of the workplace.
Your main responsibilities
- Manage disability files, both for personal disabilities and for occupational injuries;
- Coordinate medical follow-ups, return-to-work processes and temporary work assignments;
- Act as a resource person for the client by providing advice and recommendations regarding disability and occupational injury files;
- Provide first aid and first response during workplace incidents or accidents and ensure the administrative and clinical follow-up;
- Make recommendations on pre-employment medical files, based on the standards required for positions and the client's policies;
- Take part in medical surveillance programs, including respirator fit tests, audiograms and vision exams;
- Perform blood draws and other activities required as part of laboratory analyses;
- Manage the biomedical waste register and prepare the required annual reports;
- Contribute to the development, coordination and deployment of prevention and health promotion activities in the workplace;
- Promote healthy lifestyle habits and provide advice on health and well-being;
- Promote the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), monitor it and refer employees to appropriate resources when necessary.
You have
- A Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in nursing;
- Good standing membership with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ);
- A valid CPR certification;
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience;
- Experience in disability and/or occupational injury management (strong asset);
- Functional bilingualism;
- A good command of the Microsoft Office suite;
- An excellent sense of organization, discretion and confidentiality;
- Strong interpersonal skills, good clinical judgment, and a great capacity for listening and support.

Compensation: $29.00 to $47.00 per hour
