Sales and Operations Manager - Gatineau

We are currently seeking applications for the position of:

SALES AND OPERATIONS MANAGER – Gatineau

Reporting to the sales manager, the manager is responsible for sales and operations management for the Gatineau territory.

What are the manager's responsibilities?

Distributor Management

• Directs the work of distributors to ensure excellent customer service, as well as compliance with the company's administrative policies (balancing, returns) and sales policies;
• Ensures proper monitoring of the distributors' route clock, truck inventory, and unit balancing;
• Motivates the group of distributors and provides suggestions for solutions to the sales manager to improve the distributor's performance and the quality of working relationships;
• Opens and keeps up-to-date files on distributors (return on percentage, various follow-ups on each seller);
• Undertakes a training program for distributors (computer, rotation) and follows up on it for the constant development of skills.

Operations Management

• Solicits new clients and maximizes sales with existing clients;
• Ensures a uniform client planogram per distributor and for the company;
• Sees to the application of sales policies, such as orders, prices, product management, product rotation, exploitation of the client's tablet, control of returns, monitoring of periodic promotions to ensure their success, and the daily operation of a route;
• Manages certain product files, such as the launch or withdrawal of a product.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in a field related to the position or any other relevant experience;
• 3 to 5 years of experience (experience in the food industry is an asset);
• Valid driver's license;
• Good computer skills;
• Sense of organization, proactivity, good written and oral communication, openness;
• Rigor, honesty, professionalism, good communication skills, leadership, good physical ability;
• Sales experience;
• Knowledge of the food industry;
• High availability for service to distributors.
