You want your weekends! Your responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day operations of the store
- Supervise, train and motivate the sales team
- Meet sales targets and build a loyal customer base, both residential and commercial
- Develop and maintain relationships with professional painters and contractors
- Advise customers on the choice of products, colours and application techniques
- Perform colour matching and colour coordination
- Deliver orders to customers and to job sites
- Manage inventory: orders, receiving, product rotation and periodic inventory counts
- Ensure the store is well presented (merchandising, cleanliness, promotions)
- Manage the cash register, bank deposits and administrative reports
- Enforce health and safety standards (WHMIS, product storage)
Desired profile
- Valid driver's licence (required)
- Management experience in retail (an asset in paint, hardware or renovation)
- Knowledge of paint and finishing products (a major asset)
- Leadership, organizational skills and autonomy
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Strong command of French; functional English (an asset)
- Ability to lift loads of up to 25 kg (paint containers)
