CGI is looking for a motivated director of consulting services who is driven by managing long-term business relationships with clients and developing a team of consultants. The ideal candidate has concrete experience in consulting services or information technology, combined with management experience and a strong interest in business development.
Functions and responsibilities
As a director of consulting services, you will be actively involved in achieving our business objectives, particularly in the following areas:
Governance and supervision of mandates or missions
. Ensure the supervision, coordination, and quality of service delivery to clients;
. Act as a representative for a portfolio of clients, projects, and services under your responsibility in collaboration with our other business units and corporate services;
. Participate in the execution of agreements as a trusted advisor for your clients, and this for the entire range of CGI services.
Client relationships and business development
. Develop and maintain solid and lasting relationships with clients and partners;
. Develop business with assigned clients, including the development, execution, and monitoring of sustainable growth plans for client accounts;
. Take charge of calls for tenders and proposals to clients.
Team and member management
. Act as a coach and leader of a team of approximately 15 consultants;
. Ensure the assignment and recruitment of team members while supporting their professional development;
. Stimulate the improvement of the team's capabilities and expertise in line with client needs and market evolution.
Operations management
. Ensure the direction and management of your clients and mandates to achieve budget, revenue, and profitability objectives.
Qualities required to succeed in this role
. Have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in consulting services or information technology;
. Have at least two (2) years of experience as a manager;
. Demonstrate recognized expertise in business development and service delivery to clients from different fields;
. Have a strong interest in team management and coaching consultants;
. Possess a very good sense of organization and the ability to work on multiple concurrent files at the same time;
. Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills in English;
. Demonstrate listening and open-mindedness;
. Have good negotiation skills.
CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including the level of competence, the geographical market, experience, training, as well as professional licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the specifics of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $95,000 and $180,000. This position is vacant.
