Description of position
As a lead security and risk management advisor, you will act as an expert consultant to business and technology teams to support decision-making in a constantly evolving environment. You will contribute to the integration of best security practices, ensuring the balance of protection imperatives, operational needs, and business objectives. Through your analytical capabilities, influence, and collaborative approach, you will promote the adoption of secure solutions aligned with organizational orientations and industry standards.

Tasks and skills sought :
. Advises IT delivery teams on integrating specific security requirements and sound risk management
. Provides consulting support throughout the design, implementation, operation, and evolution phases of technological solutions
. Evaluates risks related to solutions
. Proposes adapted, pragmatic, and actionable recommendations for various business and technological contexts
. Contributes to the continuous improvement of the cybersecurity posture and the maturity of the teams
. Acts as a trusted partner for technical and business stakeholders
Qualities required to succeed in this role
Profile sought : senior
. Holds a bachelor's degree in information technology, information security, data science, or equivalent training
. Has a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in security, technology, or risk management
. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of principles, frameworks, and practices in technologies, data, and information security
. Masters applied techniques and methodologies related to their area of expertise, and may possess the following certifications : CISSP ; CCSP ; CRISC (asset)
. Is recognized as a leader by their peers within their area of expertise
. Shows rigor and objectivity in their analysis work and diagnosing common practices
. Communicates, motivates, and knows how to work effectively and efficiently in a team
. Is able to exercise a consulting role and influence without hierarchical authority
. Demonstrates excellent communication and popularization skills
. Is flexible in managing daily tasks and professional relationships
. Shows great autonomy, reliability, and tolerance for ambiguity
. Demonstrates good skills in developing effective relationships with external suppliers and service providers
. Illustrates a constant openness to continuous learning
. Has knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry (asset)
