CHAUSSURE BO-PIEDS INC. is looking for an Assistant Supervisor, Logistics Operations.
Full-time permanent position
Start date: 2026-07-01
Work location: 2626, rue Papineau, Longueuil, QC, J4K 3M4. No telework.
Work environment: Retail services establishment; retail trade.
Tasks
- Use an inventory management system;
- Maintain commitment to the company's service processes, values and professional code of ethics;
- Update customer and supplier files;
- Prepare shipping and receiving orders;
- File and archive transportation documents;
- Verify the accuracy of transportation invoices;
- Proactively identify various improvement opportunities and make recommendations to the manager;
- Supervise logistics team members, analyze productivity, and maintain productivity and performance standards and expectations;
- Demonstrate the ability to develop a culture of recognition, accountability, discipline and urgency;
- Train staff on how to maximize each person's potential through continuous development;
- Ensure adequate staffing at all times by organizing personnel appropriately; validate team schedules and timetables;
- Supervise employees by applying policies/procedures, documenting disciplinary actions and performance evaluations, reporting incidents of any violation of company policies/procedures, and preparing the corresponding documentation;
- Confirm delivery appointments;
- Follow up on ongoing operations;
- Inform customers of delays or changes;
- Receive and process proofs of delivery;
- Ensure that merchandise is delivered and stored correctly;
- Ensure that CNESST rules are applied and respected by everyone;
- Produce team performance reports and reports on volumes processed within the requested periods;
- Check inventory levels and report discrepancies and anomalies;
- Ensure good inventory quality is maintained;
- Respond to calls and emails related to the department;
- Coordinate order preparation with warehouse team members;
- Assist with merchandise return management;
- Other related tasks.
Job Requirements
- No diploma is required.
- 2 years of experience in retail logistics operations, such as order management and preparation, supply chain, or a related field.
Number of hours per week: Variable, between 30 hours per week and 40 hours per week.
Flexible schedule.
Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per year.
