As a heavy vehicle mechanic with us, the minimum responsibilities are:
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on construction equipment to ensure proper functioning and extend their lifespan.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other technical failures.
- Keep clear and detailed records of interventions, including replaced parts and work performed.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards when using and repairing equipment.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent experience;
- Class 5 driver's license, class 3 is an additional asset;
- A basic toolkit;
- Experience in heavy vehicle mechanics, including experience in diagnosis, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems;
- You must hold an open work permit, be a permanent resident, or a Canadian citizen. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer sponsorship for this position.
- Salary between $32 and $37/hour according to the collective agreement + specification premiums
- Evening schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (with available overtime)
- Provided protective equipment (gloves, boots, glasses, etc.)
