About the Mechanic - Mobile Unit Heavy Trucks (Laval) position: Do you want to get out of the garage and take on challenges on the road?
Join our team and enjoy an autonomous, stimulating and well-equipped work environment.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and repairs of our fleet of diesel trucks, at various sites or directly on the road thanks to our mobile unit.
- Work from the garage of our Laval district when there are no service calls.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and other technical failures.
- Use high-performance diagnostic tools to identify and effectively resolve problems in the field.
- Work autonomously while remaining connected with the team to ensure good follow-up of interventions.
- Perform regular inspections and keep clear and detailed records of work performed.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards when using and repairing equipment.
What we expect from you:
- Diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent experience;
- Class 5 driver's license, class 3 is an additional asset;
- Be comfortable driving a mobile unit;
- A basic set of tools;
- Experience in heavy vehicle mechanics, including experience in diagnosis, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems;
- You must hold an open work permit, be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer sponsorship for this position.

- Stable schedule from Monday to Friday from 5 am to 2 pm or from 10 am to 7 pm according to operational needs, plus possibility of overtime;
