Job description:
  • Preparation and setup: Perform setup, prepare food, and ensure the execution of tasks necessary for the smooth operation of kitchen operations.
  • Hygiene, cleanliness, and safety: Follow the established schedule and strictly respect the standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and workplace safety.
  • Operational support: Support colleagues during periods of high volume by offering physical and operational support to ensure the fluidity of service.
  • Communication and collaboration: Participate in kitchen meetings, collaborate with the team to optimize operations, and contribute to the overall satisfaction of customers.
  • Related tasks: Execute any other responsibility assigned by management according to operational needs.
Qualifications
  • Education and experience: Possess prior experience in the kitchen as well as a recognized culinary training diploma. Also, hold the food handler certification issued by the MAPAQ.
  • Personal qualities: Demonstrate autonomy, efficiency, and a keen sense of priorities, even in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment.
  • Technical skills: Being able to perform culinary tasks with precision, applying food hygiene and safety standards rigorously, and contributing to process improvement by proposing creative and relevant ideas.
  • Interpersonal skills: Demonstrating solid teamwork skills, positive interpersonal abilities and an ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other departments.
