Main Duties
- Supervise educators and assign tasks during the evening shift;
- Ensure the safety, well-being and constant supervision of children;
- Meet the particular needs of children and intervene in emergencies;
- Maintain clear communication with parents about how the evening unfolds;
- Welcome children and verify pick-up authorizations;
- Ensure compliance with educator-to-child ratios and applicable regulations;
- Supervise staff, provide support and manage problematic situations;
- Complete daily reports, attendance registers and incident reports;
- Manage emergencies and apply evacuation or first aid procedures;
- Take part in the integration and training of new employees;
- Ensure the application of internal policies and the daycare's educational program;
- Other related tasks.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3 years of experience as an early childhood educator are required.
Education: Professional training as a daycare educator is required.
Language: French
