Job Description SummaryResponsible for activities related to construction, development, and commissioning on the client's site, from site mobilization to civil engineering, assembly, and commissioning work, including management activities related to this field. Responsible for planning and/or executing departmental operations or focused on executing professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions endowed with a certain autonomy, but guided by established policies or analysis of final results.
This position is authorized to modify procedures and practices related to tasks as long as the final results meet acceptability standards (quality, volume, deadlines, etc.).Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ALL site activities, acting under the direction and on behalf of the global project manager.
  • Leads the on-site team and manages the execution of the project's scope of work. May also be responsible for managing multiple sites for the project.
  • Ensures compliance with schedules, quality, and costs in accordance with contractual obligations, company policies, and local regulations.
  • Includes direct management of personnel, including staffing and performance development.
  • In-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical skills and technical experience to implement policies and strategies.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and integration of their field with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Able to propose different solutions outside of established parameters in order to respond to more complex manufacturing processes involving technical diversity and/or interdependent production cycles. Relies on technical experience and analytical reasoning. Uses multiple internal sources and a limited number of external sources, beyond their own team, to make decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
  • May lead small projects with low risk and limited resource requirements.
  • Explains information and develops skills to bring team members to a consensus on topics related to their area of expertise.
  • Communicates performance expectations and may be called upon to manage sensitive situations.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of experience as a lineman or electrician).
  • The candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Supervisory role (i.e. site manager) is responsible for ENTIRE scope of site activities, acting under the direction and on behalf of the overall project leader.
  • Leads site team and manages execution of the project scope of work. Could also be managing multiple sites for the project.
  • Ensures schedule, quality and cost are in compliance with contractual obligations, company policy and local regulations.
  • Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
  • Technical experience and analytical thinking.
  • Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
  • Explains information, developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
  • Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Required Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience line man / Electrician.
