Maintenance Technician

Gestion Zagora is a young and dynamic company specializing in property management. In operation for more than 5 years, the company currently owns and manages several rental buildings mainly in Montreal, on the South Shore of Montreal, Gatineau and Quebec City. Being in full growth, the company wishes to expand its team in order to reach new heights.

We are currently looking for a full-time residential maintenance technician to join our property management team in Gatineau, Quebec. You will act as an essential collaborator within the team.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Carrying out regular maintenance programs to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and household appliances.
• Repairs: Rapid diagnosis and repair of technical problems, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and security systems.
• Emergency Management: Quick and efficient response to urgent intervention requests to minimize inconvenience for residents.
• Follow-up and Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of interventions and work carried out, including maintenance reports and inventories of spare parts.
• Safety and Compliance: Strict application of safety standards and local regulations to ensure a safe living environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Proposing and implementing improvements to optimize maintenance operations and increase resident satisfaction.
• Collaboration: Working closely with property managers, contractors, and other members of the maintenance team to ensure efficient coordination of tasks.

Desired Profile

• Technical Skills: Installation of drywall, plaster and painting. Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC systems (an asset).
• Communication: French mandatory (English: an asset)
• Professionalism and Ethics: Sense of responsibility and organization.
