- Ensure constant vigilance to prevent incidents and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Operate and monitor the pumps used for transferring used oils and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards at the site.
- Perform daily checks on facilities, including reservoir levels, valve alignment, and proper equipment functioning.
- Load finished products into different types of containers and unload trucks transporting used oils.
- Take samples of products and used oils according to established procedures.
- Complete operational documentation related to loading, unloading, and transferring materials.
- Move company trucks and equipment around the site as required.
- Maintain work areas that are clean, organized, and safe.
- Participate in inspections and report any anomalies or situations that could compromise safety or operations.
- Collaborate with various team members to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.
- Participate, on a voluntary basis, in the site's emergency response team.
Job Requirements:
- Class 5 driver's license required.
- Autonomous, resourceful, and vigilant.
- Good work ethic and positive attitude.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor.
- Concern for health and safety.
- Basic mechanical aptitudes and willingness to learn.
- Spoken and written French.
- Basic computer skills (an asset).
