Compensation This position is hourly, and the starting pay rate is $23.50/hour with eligibility for a afternoon shift premium of $1.50/hr, where applicable (for distribution center positions only), and eligibility for an incentive bonus of Cust_stipdollar, which is contingent on achieving individual and company performance objectives. Customer Service Representative We are hiring full-time service representatives for inbound calls! You will be part of a team reporting to a Supervisor, Customer Experience, starting October 26, 2026.   • Enjoy your weekends with our schedule from Monday to Friday, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. (ET).
  • Our 8-week IN-PERSON onboarding and training academy will give you all the essential skills to connect well with our customers - critical thinking, decision-making, communication, etc.
  • After 3 months of service, team members meeting the criteria for remote work may enjoy a HYBRID model: three days on site and two days at home.
  • You will be eligible to take part in a bidding process for other work schedules, depending on operational needs.

You will

  • Build and strengthen customer relationships by responding to a high volume of inbound phone calls and emails in a way that leaves customers with a positive impression.
  • Demonstrate professional and technical skills in oral and written communication, including reading comprehension.
  • Meet customer challenges by using all available resources for account selection, product identification, and order placement and management.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking to resolve customer issues such as product searches, price and billing discrepancies, applying credits, and facilitating returns.
  • Manage and mitigate risks by taking appropriate action.
  • Collaborate daily in a positive, teamwork-based environment that is committed to doing business ethically and with integrity.

You have

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position, since the successful candidate will regularly interact with customers, partners, and Grainger team members in both official languages.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of customer service experience. Experience within a customer service center.
  • A strong desire and willingness to help customers by providing a friendly, well-informed, and effortless experience.
  • Proven proficiency with computer technology; using and navigating several PC programs (Microsoft Office, Salesforce) and using two monitors.
  • Experience providing personalized, close-to-the-customer service in a constantly evolving environment.
  • The ability to travel to our offices.
  • The ability to be comfortable sitting for up to 8 hours per day.
  • A secure, distraction-free workspace dedicated to professional activities (required for remote/hybrid work).
  • A stable internet connection with the ability to provide proof of upload speed greater than 5 megabits per second, download speed of 15 megabits per second, and a ping below 80 milliseconds. (Mandatory for remote/hybrid work)
