Salary scale (not limited to):
80,700 - 98,700Annual bonus target, based on base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (depending on individual employee performance and company financial results)

About the position
We are looking for claims experts, home to join our road department.

As a road claims expert, you will play a central role in our main mission: helping people. You will be part of a passionate and diverse team of claims experts dedicated to helping clients get back on track after a claim.
Your empathy and exceptional skills will be valuable assets to our team. We will offer you stimulating opportunities to investigate and manage complex claims and losses in personal and commercial insurance.
What you will do
Evaluate and analyze the information gathered, insurance labels, and damages to determine what is covered in each situation.
Evaluate the potential civil liability of the insured and third parties by consulting experts.
Negotiate with clients, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims, within the limits of your authority.
Manage field tasks on behalf of internal claims experts.
As needed, actively participate in claims and work management when volume is high.
Collaborate effectively with different teams, including evaluation, underwriting, and legal services.
Ensure effective cost management.
Stay up-to-date on current trends in insurance products and evaluation and investigation techniques and services.
What you will bring to the table
Hold a valid AMF license (5A).
Have at least 3 years of experience as a road claims expert, with particular expertise in water or fire-related claims, as well as commercial claims.
Show a passion for customer service and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Be autonomous and goal-oriented, able to work in a rapidly evolving environment.
Have a strong aptitude for technology with excellent computer skills.
Have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Be able to travel on short notice.
Be familiar with insurance products.
Be bilingual (French/English) - Need to handle claims files from an English-speaking clientele on a regular basis.
