Director of Real Estate Operations

a real estate operations director or a real estate operations director to ensure the operational and financial performance of their portfolio.
Reporting directly to the owner investment fund, you will be responsible for managing an environment with over 1700 rental units spread across several phases of development, while mobilizing a team of five managers responsible for the main operational functions.
In this role, you will be called upon to evolve a modern real estate management model focused on the quality of the resident experience, community engagement, and the creation of a distinctive living environment. As the leader of five strategic poles of the organization: rental management and revenue, resident and community experience, asset operation and maintenance, administration and compliance, and security. You will also act as a true business partner to the owner fund by proposing initiatives for continuous improvement, operational optimization, and profitability growth.
Main responsibilities
Leadership and governance of operations

• Assume overall responsibility for the operations and performance of the real estate portfolio
  
• Mobilize, supervise and develop a team of five managers responsible for the different sectors of activity
  
• Presentation of results, challenges and strategic recommendations to the investment fund on a monthly basis
  

Financial performance and optimization

• Manage the operating budget and ensure the achievement of financial objectives
  
• Identify and implement initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency
  
• Monitor performance indicators and recommend necessary actions to achieve results
  

Resident experience and real estate operations

• Ensure excellence in operations related to rental management, resident experience, maintenance, security and administrative services
  
• Ensure the maintenance of high standards of quality for residents and real estate assets
  
• Foster the development of a dynamic living environment by creating strategic partnerships with local stakeholders to enrich the resident experience, support the project's integration into its community and contribute to its influence
  

Innovation and continuous improvement

• Exploit data and technology to improve performance and support decision-making
  
• Optimize processes and implement best practices in real estate management
  
• Recommend and implement innovative solutions to support the growth and value creation of the portfolio
  
• Contribute to reflections on the project's positioning, influence strategies and marketing initiatives by formulating recommendations based on the resident experience and operational reality of the portfolio

Required qualifications

• Relevant university education
  
• Five to ten years of experience in a management role related to real estate operations or asset management
  
• Significant experience in budget management and performance optimization
  
• Strong ease with technological tools, data, and management indicators
  
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
