You will be the expert who will guide our clients in their choices of tax reorganizations and personal or corporate tax planning in the context of American taxation.
You will join the office of your choice among the following: Québec, Lévis, Trois-Rivières, Terrebonne, Saint-Hyacinthe, Saint-Hubert or Montréal.

What you will accomplish
- Review, supervise, and coordinate American and Canadian tax returns produced by non-residents
- Follow up with American tax authorities (requests for information, audits, projects, and notices of assessment, requests for reconsideration)
- Mentor, train, and participate in the evaluation of resources under your supervision
- Conduct tax research related to the American tax implications of various cross-border activities of individuals and companies
- Advise individuals and businesses on Canadian and American standards regarding cross-border tax issues
- Analyze the American tax implications of a company's activities at the federal and state levels
- Assist interveners in the mandate (lawyers, bankers, advisors, etc.) in the context of cross-border transactional mandates
What really matters
- Accounting or legal training
- Mastery of taxation or completion of the ICCA's Fundamental Tax Program (PFEI), an asset
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in American taxation
- Leadership and initiative
- Customer-focused approach
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
