To support its activities and numerous projects, Derko is looking for a senior accounting technician to join its team. Reporting to the financial controller, you will play a key role in accounting operations, particularly in accounts payable, inventory management, payroll processing, and support for other accounting activities of the organization.

Reporting to the financial controller, you will play a key role in accounting operations, particularly in accounts payable, inventory management, payroll processing, and support for other accounting activities of the organization.
Main responsibilities
- Process the complete cycle of accounts payable and allocate invoices to different projects
- Make payments to suppliers and participate in monthly and annual closures of accounts payable
- Participate in inventory tracking, inventory taking, and cost analysis by project
- Participate in payroll processing with progressive takeover of the complete process
- Perform account reconciliations related to inventory management
- Produce monthly remittances and required reports
- Participate in monthly accounting closures and year-end work
- Contribute to the implementation of the new accounting software
