Our client, a well-established and growing company in the real estate sector, is looking for a Financial Controller who will play a key role in the financial management of the organization and the continuous improvement of its processes. With a significant and constantly expanding real estate portfolio, the company is looking for a professional who wants to invest in the long term in a stable, collaborative and dynamic environment.
What awaits you- Supervise the complete accounting cycle and ensure the integrity of financial data
- Participate in monthly and annual closings
- Produce and analyze financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, including TPS/TVQ returns
- Actively participate in the budgeting process
- Treasury management
- Payroll and compliance
- Continuous improvement and internal controls
- All other related tasks in support of the team.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (Relevant experience may be substituted)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced mastery of Excel
- Knowledge of Hopem and/or Power BI (an asset)
- Experience or marked interest in the real estate sector
- Rigor and attention to detail
