Junior Sales Representative

Join the MAPEI company as a Sales Representative for our DIY division.

Under the responsibility of the Manager, Business Development, the holder of the position fulfills the responsibilities related to sales and representation of their territory.

Tasks and responsibilities :

• Is responsible for the development and management of their territory and sales budget based on the corporation's objectives through special presentations of current and new products on the markets;
• Is responsible for representing the company to large retail stores;
• Is responsible for product training, technical communications with clients regarding products, problem-solving, and influencing clients' purchasing decisions;
• Is responsible for reporting to management on the activities of their territory;
• Regularly carries out prospecting activities;
• Is responsible for providing the company with feedback on tests performed in the field on new formulas or prototypes;
• Participates in the development of new products with product managers;
• Performs all other related tasks.

• College diploma (DEC) in management/commerce, architecture, or engineering with 5 years of experience in sales and/or customer service and/or 5 years of experience in the field of floor covering installation (ceramic, carpet, vinyl, wood)
• Bilingual (oral and written) in French and English
• Knowledge of industry standards, quality, and MAPEI products
• Mathematical and technical writing skills
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Persistence
• Able to work under pressure
