Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
  • Perform monthly closures and reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare period-end entries and ensure the accuracy of the verification balance.
  • Account for vehicle sales and issue credit notes as needed.
  • Prepare tax returns (GST/QST) and customer account statements.
  • Produce financial reports and perform various accounting analyses.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and make required adjustments.
  • Participate in the preparation of year-end files and support external audits.
  • Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of financial information.
  • Collaborate on various projects and perform any other related tasks requested by management.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in accounting, administration, accounts payable, or accounts receivable.
  • Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in accounting.
  • Ease with computer tools and accounting management software.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of invoices, payments, and administrative follow-ups.
  • Excellent mastery of spoken and written French.
  • Good organizational, prioritization, and schedule management skills.
  • Attention to detail, rigor, and precision in handling financial data.
  • Discretion and respect for the confidentiality of financial information.
  • Experience in the automotive field or with the CDK, One-Eighty system, an asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
  • Perform monthly closings and general ledger account reconciliations.

  • Record vehicle sales and issue credit notes as required.
